Present at the meeting were figures of the political parties and organizations such as the Bangladesh People's League, Bangladesh Self-Reliance Research Centre and the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy and other people.

Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, and other speakers accused the Japanese reactionaries of encroaching upon even the elementary right of Koreans in Japan, finding fault with the DPRK's legitimate satellite launch.

They urged the Japanese authorities to immediately stop their reckless moves against the DPRK and Chongryon and called for conducting more positive activities for supporting the Korean people in their just cause.

Adopted at the meeting was a statement.

The statement reiterated invariable support and solidarity with the Korean people in their just cause of defending the country's sovereignty and security and the resolution to wage more dynamic struggle against the Japanese reactionaries' hostile policy toward the DPRK.
