The message extended warm congratulations to Bashar Al-Assad and the friendly Syrian government and people on the 53rd anniversary of the March 8 revolution in Syria.

The March 8 revolution in Syria was a historic event of great significance in the just struggle of the Syrian Arab people for defending the independence of the country and the dignity of the nation, it said.

It wished the Syrian army and people greater victory in the struggle for frustrating the aggression and terrorism of hostile forces and defending the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the country under the leadership of the Syrian president.
