The general secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party of Serbia praised Kim Jong Il as an outstanding leader and benevolent father who devoted his all to the world socialist movement, the development of the movement for national liberation and happiness of the Korean people.

His feats for the building of a thriving socialist nation in the DPRK and global independence will always be remembered by the Korean people and other progressives, the general secretary said.

The international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party who doubles as chairman of the Serbian preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star noted that the revolutionary cause of Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Benin-Korea Amicable Association "Long Live Kim Jong Il, Supreme Leader" stressed that Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious party fully representing the interests of the popular masses, deeply rooted among them, and thus opened a turning phase in building a thriving socialist nation.
