The editorial chided Park for making vague remarks in her "address made at the event observing the March 1 movement", far from warning Japan of its wrong understanding of its past and lurch to the right.

Saying that the most part of her address was not the issues related to Japan but those related to the north, the editorial accused Park of her "hard-line" remarks against the north.

The editorial recalled that Park talked about "dialogue" though she did not mention for some time, aware that her stand was not in line with the trend of the international community, adding that her remark was little short of evading the responsibility for bedeviling the south-north relations.
