Literary Works Created to Encourage Participants in 70-day Campaign

Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- Writers of the DPRK have produced a lot of literary works such as novels, epics and long poems, nearly 2 000 in all, through their creative activities since the first day of the 70-day campaign to arouse all the service personnel and people to party-wide, nationwide and all-people general mobilization offensive and death-defying campaign. Among them are long poem "Let's dash toward future" and full-length novel "Miru Plain". The writers of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea visited the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and various other units in Pyongyang and handed aid materials to the workers. They conducted frontline-style information and agitation activities and created literary works strong in appeal as they reflect the spirit of the times. The writers of South Hamgyong, Kangwon and all other provinces are also active in the Hamhung Youth Electric Appliances Plant, the construction site of stockbreeding base in Sepho area and other major industrial establishments and construction sites. |
