Leading Newspapers Laud Great Leaders' Feats Performed in Socialist Rural Construction
Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- Seven decades have passed since the promulgation of the Agrarian Reform Law on March 5, 1946 in the DPRK. This period represents a proud history in which epochal changes have taken place in the socialist rural construction thanks to President Kim Il Sung's and leader Kim Jong Il's Juche-oriented idea on the rural construction and their energetic leadership.

Leading newspapers of the DPRK Saturday say this in editorials.

Rodong Sinmun says that the great leaders explored the untrodden path of socialist rural construction with their gifted wisdom and outstanding leadership art, setting an example of the times in solving the rural issues in their whole course of leading the Korean revolution.

It goes on:

Under the leadership of the President the two phases of complicated social revolution were successfully carried out in the rural areas and the cause of socialist rural construction could make a steady advance along the orbit of Juche despite the turbulence of the complicated international situation.

Kim Jong Il regarded it as a historic task of proving the advantages and invincibility of socialism to settle the rural question and energetically led the work to consolidate the rural position and develop in depth the three revolutions- ideological, technical and cultural- as required by the developing reality.

The world knows no such leaders as Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who attached so great importance to the peasant issue and agriculture issue and settled them most successfully and led the rural construction, walking roads of fields of the country all their lives.

Minju Joson says that the agricultural workers and other people all over the country have the firm faith and will to eternally glorify the immortal feats performed by the great leaders in the land administration and thus give steady continuity to the fresh history of the fields visited by bumper harvests.
