The Senegalese newspaper Le Populaire edited an article titled "HE Kim Jong Il's exploits will remain forever in the hearts of humankind" illustrated with his photo.

The article said that he foiled the imperialist allied forces' moves to stifle the DPRK and firmly protected the sovereignty of the country and the peace and security not only in the Korean Peninsula but in the rest of the world with his unique Songun politics. This is the greatest feat he performed for the triumphant advance of the cause of global independence.

The Senegalese State Radio aired a similar program.

The State Radio and F.M.90.5 Radio of Cambodia aired in an article titled "Elder statesman in the world":

HE Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an invincible party which achieved cohesion and unity and experienced and tested, ever-victorious combat ranks on the basis of the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung.

He was possessed of the most successful statesmanship.

The Myanmar TV Broadcasting screened a Korean film introducing Kimjongilia, flower of the sun, at the prime time.
