The statement said:

Koreans in Japan are not enjoying even the elementary right due to the Japanese authorities' unreasonable moves.

Of late the Japanese authorities took more sanctions against the DPRK, an independent state, and unilaterally scrapped the agreement it had concluded with the latter.

They are taking additional sanctions against the DPRK to expand objects to be subject to the fund freeze and restriction of personnel visits and remittance while intensifying suppression of Chongryon.

We urge the Japanese authorities to immediately stop their suppression of Koreans in Japan.
