Since the start of the 70-day campaign, more than 220 000 tons of organic fertilizer has been carried to rice paddies and dry fields. And over 90 hectares of farmland has been carpeted with humus soil.

Cooperative farms in Hamju County are making their efforts to produce more manure while preparing materials for seedbed, repairing pumping equipment, rearranging waterways and spreading fertile soil on fields.

Cooperative farms in Jongphyong County, in particular, have over-fulfilled their daily manuring plan 150 percent.

The same is true of farms in Hamhung and Tanchon cities and Hongwon, Riwon and other counties.
