Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The National Union of Bank Employees in Malaysia released a statement on March 2 to demand the Japanese authorities roll back their sanctions against the DPRK and stop the suppression of the Koreans in Japan. The statement said: The Japanese authorities are screwing up the suppression of the Koreans in Japan, following the DPRK's H-bomb test and satellite launch for peaceful purposes. The H-bomb test is a measure for self-defense to protect the sovereignty of the country and the vital rights of the nation from the ever-increasing nuclear threats and blackmail by the U.S. and other hostile forces and ensure peace in the Korean Peninsula and regional security. The DPRK is a peace-loving country which is making every possible effort to safeguard peace in the peninsula and regional security by foiling the U.S. vicious moves for a nuclear war. The DPRK's satellite launch is for the construction of an economic power and space exploration for peaceful purposes is the legitimate right of a sovereign state by recognized by international law. It is a violation of the sovereignty of the DPRK and human rights of the Koreans in Japan that the Japanese authorities took independent sanctions measures against the DPRK and tightened the suppression of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan. |
