No sooner had the anti-DPRK "sanctions resolution" been adopted by UNSC than the Park Geun Hye regime and the U.S. never missed the chance but formed a joint working group for discussing the deployment of THAAD in south Korea on Mar. 4, the editorial noted, adding:

The projected THAAD deployment will threaten the situation in the Korean Peninsula and the rest of Northeast Asia.

The regime is claiming that the deployment is "part of the efforts for tightening missile defense posture against the threat from the north" but it is, in actuality, part of the U.S. East Asia MD system for propping up its military hegemony.

THAAD will make south Korea bear heavy loss and expenses.

The editorial urged the U.S. and the regime to stop the discussion immediately.
