Sports Games Held to Mark March 8 Int'l Women's Day

| Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Sports games of housewives across the country took place at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium from March 5 to 7 to mark the 106th anniversary of the March 8 International Women's Day. The games brought together at least 360 players selected from here and each province. The participants competed in volleyball, table tennis, Taekwon-Do and other diverse sports and amusement events amid their great enthusiasm and high spirit and warm cheering of spectators. North Hamgyong Province placed first in the sports games, Pyongyang City and South Hwanghae Province second and third. |
