According to Jong Kum Suk, a saleswoman at the exhibition, most of the cosmetics on sale are "Kumgangsan"-trademarked ones produced by the Pomhyanggi Joint Venture Company.

They include lotion, aqueous cream, perfume and eye shadow, made with domestic materials and technology.

The exhibition now serves those cosmetics packed with boxes of various size and color carrying flowers and letters "Happy International Women's Day".

In the country it has become a usual practice to present bouquets and souvenirs to the women on every International Women's Day and Mother's Day (November 16).

The Kumgangsan Cosmetics Exhibition was opened in Juche 96 (2007).
