S. Korean Youth and Students Denounce Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The Youth and Students Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference in Seoul Monday to condemn the U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces for their joint military exercises for invading the north, according to south Korean internet newspaper Thongil News.

The speakers said that Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 are creating a dangerous situation on the Korean peninsula in which a slightest conflict may spill over to an all-out war.

The peninsula may turn into shambles of a war any time, if no action is taken for peace, they noted, urging the south Korean authorities and the U.S. to stop the military drills at once.

A press release was read out there.

It said that all the young people of south Korea would stage actions for peace against war and make ceaseless efforts to implement the south-north joint declarations.
