U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Exercises Denounced by S. Korean Civic and Public Organizations

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- Civic and public organizations of Kyonggi Province of south Korea including the Kyonggi Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration and the Kyonggi Solidarity for Progress held rallies in front of the Ansan City Office and at the plaza of Suwon Railway Station and before the U.S. military base in Phyongthaek on March 7 in protest against the U.S. and south Korean puppet warmongers' joint military exercises against the DPRK, according to Thongil News, an internet paper of south Korea.

At the rallies the organizations said that Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises were provocative and aggressive war maneuvers and hostile muscle flexing.

The organizations urged the south Korean and U.S. authorities to immediately lift "sanctions" against the DPRK and halt aggressive war exercises which may spark military clashes.
