Teachers, researchers and postgraduate students of the university presented more than 260 achievements conducive to putting the national economy on Juche, modern, scientific and IT basis.

The festival is divided into 12 panels. It involves a public presentation and exhibition of scientific and technological achievements, contest of various units in exhibition and new technology sharing.

Thae Hyong Chol, president of the university and minister of Higher Education, made an opening address.

At the end of the opening ceremony the participants looked round the festival venue.
