Coal Output Goes Up in DPRK

Pyongyang, March 9 (KCNA) -- The coal industrial workers in the DPRK are striving to raise the production with the ongoing 70-day campaign as an occasion. Thanks to their energetic efforts, the country's coal output has grown up 1.3 times on a daily average from the outset of the campaign. The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and Tukjang and Tokchon area coal mining complexes topped their daily plans more than 110 percent. Coal production went up also at collieries in Hamnam, Anju, Chonnae, Kangdong and Kujang areas in 15 days after the start of the campaign. |
