U.S.-S. Korea Anti-DPRK War Rehearsals Censured by British Organizations

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Korean Friendship Association UK issued a joint statement on March 1 denouncing the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces for their joint military drills aimed to launch a preemptive strike against the DPRK.

Referring to the scale of the on-going Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military drills, the statement noted:

The pivot of the war rehearsals is to stage under the simulated conditions of an actual war the drills for the "beheading operation" targeting the supreme leadership of the DPRK and the "operation for neutralizing" its nuclear and strategic rocket forces.

The rehearsals are being staged amid the U.S. and its followers' desperate moves to stifle Korean-style socialism, and herein lies its danger.

The U.S. and its followers are pulling up the DPRK over its H-bomb test for self-defence and satellite launch for peaceful purposes.

Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military drills are neither "defensive" nor "annual."

They are exactly aimed to invade the DPRK.

Utterly absurd is the assertion that the drills are to cope with "threat" from someone.

The U.S.- south Korea joint military drills gravely threatens peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region.

We demand the withdrawal of U.S. forces from south Korea.
