Ugandan Organization Slams UNSC's "Resolution on Sanctions" against DRPK

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The Ugandan National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement issued a statement on March 5 in denunciation of the UN Security Council's "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK fabricated by the U.S.

The statement noted that the DPRK as an independent and sovereign state has the right to launch satellites and develop weapons for self-defence like other nations.

The UNSC's anti-DPRK "resolution on sanctions" No. 2270 is an unreasonable one to wantonly violate the sovereignty of the DPRK and its right to existence and to escalate the instability of the region, the statement noted, adding:

Clear is the intention sought by the forces in fabricating the "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK.

We extend support and solidarity to the DPRK in its just cause and call upon all countries and people to reject the UNSC's unreasonable "resolution on sanctions" in order to achieve global peace and security.
