New-type Shielded Tub Wheel Introduced

| Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- A work is going on at collieries in the DPRK to introduce a new-type shielded tub wheel, developed by the Central Mining Research Institute under the State Academy of Sciences. This wheel helps raise the coal productivity 1.5 times as its bearing is three times longer than the existing one in serviceable life. It has already been applied to 20-odd coal mines across the country including the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine and Hwachon Coal Mine, proving effective. |
