UN Organization Urges Japanese and S. Korean Authorities to Sincerely Approach Issue of Sexual Slavery
Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- The UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women released the final deliberation results on March 7, saying that the "agreement" reached between the Japanese and south Korean authorities in December last year on "finally and irreversibly solving" the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army failed to fully represent the counter-action favoring the stand of the victims.

The committee blamed the prime minister and other Japanese politicians for evading the responsibility for the issue of the sexual slavery and speaking ill of the victim nonstop.

A member of the Committee who participated in the deliberation demanded at a press conference once again the Japanese and south Korean authorities honestly deal with the issue of the sexual slavery.
