The statement said:

The UNSC fabricated the "sanctions resolution" by taking issue with the DPRK over the exercise of its self-defensive and legitimate right to bolster its national defence capability and develop its science and technology.

Peace has not been ensured on the Korean peninsula. This is because the U.S. has denied the DPRK's proposal to conclude a peace treaty, steadily kept its military bases in south Korea and thus divided the Korean nation desirous of reunification into two for a long time.

The UN was played into the hands of the U.S. and other big powers and their followers in cooking up the "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK.

We will strengthen our solidarity with the Korean people in the anti-imperialist struggle and raise our voice demanding the removal of the U.S. troops and bases from south Korea and a stop to the war games.

Korea is one.

We will as ever stand by the Korean people fighting the challenges, interference and war games of the imperialists.
