Hundreds of them have already carried out their yearly quotas, over 3,600 the first half-yearly quotas and more than 15,400 the first quarterly quotas throughout the country

Among them are members of 40 youth shock brigades in South Phyongan Province. 730 members of the brigades finished the first half-yearly plan and 1,400 the first quarterly plan.

Over 40 members of the Kim Hyok Youth Shock Brigade at the Chonma Mine hit their first half-yearly target by early March, while 100 young men at the Forestry Complex No. 121 worked such a miracle as over-fulfilling their yearly woodcutting and carriage plan, despite of severe cold.

Nine weavers of the Manpho Spinning Mill in Jagang Province carried out their first quarterly plans at 120 percent by the end of February and many young employees at the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill and Pakchon Silk Mill hit their yearly targets.

Similar successes were also heard from different units across the country, including the Kwanhae Offshore Farm under the North Hamgyong Provincial Fishery Management Bureau.
