Sugar Sculpture Show to Be Held

| Pyongyang, March 11 (KCNA) -- A sugar sculpture show will be held with the Day of the Sun, the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, as an occasion (Apr. 15) under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Korean Association of Cooks in the DPRK. In this regard, Kim Kwang Hun, a staff of the association, told KCNA: The sugar sculpture show, the first of its kind in the country, will bring together units and industries under the General Bureau of Public Service and Ministry of Food and Consumer Goods and well-known foodstuff factories in Pyongyang and provinces. On display at the show will be sculptures depicting animals, plants, structures, scenery, fruits and heroes of cartoon. A passing-on-technique course was given for the successful show. And the preparations for a demonstration have been pushed forward by the General Bureau of Public Service and Ministry of Food and Consumer Goods. The show will be conducive to developing the culinary culture in the country. |
