The Pusan Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration, the Pusan Citizens' Solidarity and the Pusan People's Solidarity held a meeting on March 11 and made public a declaration on peace of the civic and public organizations in Pusan.

The war-like atmosphere is mounting on the Korean peninsula due to the largest-ever U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises involving a large number of nuclear war means, the declaration said, and went on:

The Park Geun Hye "government" closed the Kaesong Industrial Zone as part of its intensified hostile policy toward the DPRK and is taking measures for escalating tension, while talking about "sanctions".

The civic and public organizations in Pusan will turn out in the struggle for peace against war irrespective of idea and political view.
