U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Exercises Accused by Beninese, Nigerian Figures

Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- Beninese and Nigerian figures issued statements on March 9 in denunciation of the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet warmongers' largest-ever joint military exercises. Ali Houdou, president of the Socialist Party of Benin, said: Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military exercises are nuclear war drills against the DPRK and hostile acts of infringing upon its sovereignty and dignity. No military pressure can block the victorious self-development-based advance of the Korean people. Ibrahim Mantu, member of the Credit Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria and chairman of the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association, said: The U.S. and south Korean authorities, pursuant to their extremely hostile policy toward the DPRK, are staging the largest-ever joint military drills involving huge armed forces for aggression enough to fight a total war despite the DPRK's crucial warning. In case a war breaks out on the Korean peninsula due to the U.S. and south Korean authorities' reckless military maneuvers, it is as clear as noonday that it will spill over into a global thermonuclear war. The U.S. and south Korean authorities should lend ears to the voices of all Koreans and world peace-loving people aspiring after peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula, and stop the dangerous war rehearsals at once. |
