Day of Sun to Be Marked in Sri Lanka

| Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A Sri Lankan preparatory committee for celebrating the 104th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed in Colombo on March 10. The chairman of the Gampaha branch of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies was elected chairman of the committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events such as a seminar on the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung for the cause of human independence on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
