A sergeant of a forefront unit in Ryonchon County, Kyonggi Province of south Korea committed suicide at his post on March 11.

On March 9 an officer of the unit was killed by his pistol's bullet while on patrol duty.

A soldier doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire in Wonju City of south Korean Kangwon Province on March 11.
