Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the undying feats of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and organize colorful events to extend support and solidarity to the Korean people who are stepping up the building of a thriving socialist nation while foiling the obstructive moves of all hostile forces under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un on the occasions of the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il and 5th anniversary of Kim Jong Un's election as the first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
