The Chilean Branch of the Korean Friendship Association said this in a statement issued on March 5 criticizing the UN Security Council's unreasonable "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK.

The statement said:

The UNSC's "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK is for realizing the U.S. and its stooges' sinister purpose to occupy the DPRK.

The U.S. persists in slandering the DPRK.

It is also working hard to invade the DPRK again.

We strongly denounce the UNSC's "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK.

Those who masterminded the "resolution" are, indeed, the betes noires of history.

The above-said resolution contradicts the UN Charter.

The Korean people will as ever register successes and strike the imperialists with horror.
