Conditions for Preschool Education Improve in DPRK
|
|
Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- A work has been launched in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to better the conditions and environment of preschool education. An e-education program (multimedia), developed by Phalgol Kindergarten No. 2 in Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang is being introduced to kindergartens throughout the country. This program contains more than 1 400 pieces of documentation, pictures and audio and video data needed for the education of children. It helps teachers make preparations for teaching and give the children more vivid vision of playing methods. Meanwhile, distributed to all kindergartens in the country were five maps on Korea suited to children's mentality--a map on the administrative divisions, a natural map and maps on animal, plant and resources distribution. They are very helpful to fostering patriotism among the children. Also, a brisk campaign goes on to install solar panels at every kindergarten. The DPRK government has given priority to the education of children, regarding them as a king of the country. |
