What Remains to Be Done Is to Retaliate against Enemies' Provocation by Force of Arms: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- Such grave situation where a war may break out anytime is now prevailing on the Korean peninsula because the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet forces have pushed the situation to the point of explosion by resorting to hideous provocations, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in a commentary. It goes on: The U.S. is set to ignite a war on the Korean peninsula at any cost. The on-going "operation for advance into the northern inland area" in south Korea may go over to an actual battle anytime. Any warning of the DPRK never goes down with the U.S. as it insists on the showdown of force with the former. What remains to be done is to counter the U.S. with military muscle. That is a preemptive attack. No one is allowed to blame the DPRK. Running high are the hatred of all service personnel and people of the DPRK and their resolution to mercilessly wipe out the enemies keen to do harm to the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. Offensive means of the DPRK have been deployed to go into action, keeping the major striking targets in the operation theaters of south Korea within their firing range, and the powerful nuclear striking means of the DPRK targeting the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces bases in the Asia-Pacific region and the U.S. mainland are always ready to open fire. Once the buttons of striking means are pushed, those means will be launched to bring a disaster and ruin to the U.S. This is an inescapable fate of the U.S. in confrontation with the DPRK. The U.S. should not forget even a moment that the Korean People's Army's preemptive strike is by no means hot air. |
