U.S.-S. Korea Nuclear War Drills Slammed by Guinean, Polish Bodies

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- Guinean and Polish bodies released statements on March 11 and 13 denouncing the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces for kicking off the reckless nuclear war rehearsals. The Guinea-Korea Friendship Association said: The U.S is staging the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military maneuvers together with south Korea by involving huge forces. The drills are dangerous war drills for aggression to all intents and purposes. We urge the U.S. to roll back its hostile policy for stifling the DPRK and immediately halt the reckless war drills disturbing peace on the Korean peninsula and in other parts of the region. If the U.S. again ignites a war on the Korean peninsula, it will face a humiliating defeat bitterer than what it met in the past Korean War. The U.S. should accept the DPRK's fair demand in order to ensure lasting peace on the Korean peninsula. The Polish branch of the Korean Friendship Association said that the above-said war drills are undisguised maneuvers of aggression targeting the DPRK. It went on: The U.S. is openly talking about its "operation to advance into Pyongyang." Therefore, it is quite natural that the DPRK has made preparations to defend itself. |
