Javid Ahmad, director of the Administrative Department of the Times Publishing House who doubles as chairman of the Kuwait Asian Journalist Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set the celebration period from March 10 to April 16 and decided to give publicity to articles praising the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and organize a seminar, lecture, film show and other colorful political and cultural events.

It also decided to conduct positive activities to support the stand of the DPRK as regards the prevailing situation on the Korean peninsula.
