The complex overfulfilled the daily production plan of Juche iron 190 percent on March 1, 196 percent on March 10 and 213 percent on March 11.

The complex recently set up oxygen heat-based production process with indigenous technologies, thus making big strides in putting the production processes on Juche and modern basis.

As the process is entirely based on locally available raw materials and fuel, it is possible to sharply increase iron and steel production.

Technical innovations also play important role in boosting the production at the complex.

The complex is now pushing ahead with the establishment of a coal-dressing process as well as the project to apply high-temperature air-combustion technology.
