The participants said they could not understand the regime vociferating about "war", urging the regime to understand it can do nothing with confrontation.

They warned that the present regime resorting to the war maneuvers after shutting down the Kaesong Industrial Zone will be made to pay dearly.

All Koreans hope to see peace, not war, they said, declaring that they would continue the candlelight action for peace against war.
