Day of Sun to Be Marked in Iceland

| Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated in Reykjavik, Iceland on March 17. Jon Arni Halldorsson, general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize diverse political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary history and exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
