Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting the Juche Idea who doubles as chairman of the Slovakia-Korea Friendship Association was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and conduct brisk activities for solidarity with the Korean people who are dynamically building a thriving socialist nation on the occasion of the meeting.
