Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article dismisses the U.S. authorities' accusation against the DPRK as sophism that does not deserve even a passing note.

It goes on:

We cannot but clarify who truly wants peace and who really threatens it.

The U.S. is the arch criminal threatening and disturbing peace on the Korean peninsula.

Peace is seriously threatened on the peninsula and in the region due to the reckless saber-rattling of the U.S. to realize its reckless scenario to stifle the DPRK by force of arms.

The U.S. target is not only the DPRK. It is the final purpose of the U.S. to stifle the DPRK by force of arms and contain the neighboring countries with the whole peninsula as a springboard and thus realize its ambition to dominate Northeast Asia and, furthermore, the rest of the world. Precisely for this reason the U.S. is frequently staging nuclear war drills on the peninsula, straining the regional situation.

The U.S. is persistently denying this fact to accuse the DPRK. This is nothing but a shameless artifice to cover up its true colors as an intimidator and wrecker of peace and pass the buck to others.

The DPRK remains unchanged in its stand to preserve peace on the peninsula and in the rest of the world.
