Nigerian Political Party Demands Stop to U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills

Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The People's Progressive Party of Nigeria expresses full support for the special statement of the DPRK's government, political parties and organizations as regards the on-going mad-cap U.S.-south Korea joint military drills, and once again demands an immediate stop to the war drills for aggression pushing the situation on the Korean peninsula to an extreme phase.

The People's Progressive Party of Nigeria was quoted as saying this in its statement on March 17.

The statement went on:

As proved by history, to do harm to the DPRK is an extremely dangerous act of plunging the Korean peninsula, Northeast Asia and other parts of the world into the disaster of a nuclear war.

The Korean people regarding their sovereignty and dignity as dearer than their lives will turn out in an all-people sacred war by mobilizing all means if the dignity of the supreme leadership of the country is threatened.

If the U.S. sincerely wants global peace and security, it should stop at once the dangerous moves provoking others.

We demand the U.S. immediately accept the most realistic and reasonable proposals made by the DPRK for peace and security on the peninsula.
