Pakistani Embassy Hosts Reception
Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- The Pakistani embassy here hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on March 23 on the occasion of the Day of Pakistan.

Present there on invitation were DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Su Yong, Pak Kun Gwang and other officials concerned, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies and staff members of foreign embassies here.

Syed Sajjad Haider, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Pakistani embassy, said in his speech that the two countries have shared the same view on many regional and international issues, maintaining the friendly relationship.

He hoped that the Korean people would bring about the bright future under the guidance of supreme leader Marshal Kim Jong Un, adding that the Pakistani people are rejoiced over the successes made by the DPRK.

Ri Su Yong referred to the successes made by Pakistan in the work for accomplishing the independent development and prosperity since its independence, congratulating the Pakistani people on their national holiday.

The DPRK will make every effort to value and further develop the traditional friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries established in the joint struggle for independence, he added.
