It was illustrated with a photo of the President standing on Mt. Paektu, a photo of the President and leader Kim Jong Il standing together and the one of Marshal Kim Jong Un inspecting a unit of the Korean People's Army.

The newspaper in an article titled "Peerlessly great man" said that HE Kim Il Sung, the eternal President of the DPRK, was a great man shining long with the 20th century that brought about an unprecedented turn in hewing out the destiny of mankind.

Noting those having different political views and religious faith and even politicians of the countries hostile to the DPRK admired the personality of the President, it cited former American President Jimmy Carter's and former Japanese Vice-Prime Minister Sin Kanemaru's deep impressions of him as an example.

It also carried a photo of his birthplace in Mangyongdae.
