S. Korean People Oppose Removal of Statue of Girl Sexual Slave
Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- Victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army and members of civic and public organizations in south Korea held the 1223rd Wednesday rally outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on March 23 in protest against the moves to remove the statue of girl sexual slave, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People.

They disclosed that shortly ago Japanese media reported Japan's intention not to give a billion yen to a foundation for supporting former comfort women unless the girl statue in front of the Japanese embassy is removed.

They denounced the south Korean authorities' humiliating behavior to set up a foundation with a petty amount of money given by Japan.

They declared their will to protect the girl statue at any cost, demanding official apology and legal reparation from the Japanese government for the sexual slavery.
