Rodong Sinmun Ridicules U.S. for Lacking in Its Power of Discernment

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- After the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK fired new type large-caliber multiple rocket launching system, the south Korean puppet forces blustered that the north launched short-range missiles as if something serious had happened. No sooner had the report of the puppet forces been made than the special representative of the U.S. State Department for the Korea policy and the spokesperson of the U.S. State Department for the East Asian and Pacific Affairs and a spokesperson for the U.S. Defense Department vied with each other in saying that missile launch by use of ballistic missile technology is a clear violation of the UN Security Council's "resolution" and the DPRK should refrain from escalating tension and focus on taking detailed measures for keeping international promise and duty.

Rodong Sinmun Sunday says in a commentary in this regard:

It seems the U.S. has become so nervous as to mistake the thunder for the nuclear explosion as it failed to discern the ballistic missile fire and multiple rocket launching system fire.

The DPRK's recent measures are due ones for self-defense to stand up against the U.S. which is staging a series of military acts aiming at the former's headquarters by mobilizing the largest number of aggression troops and strategic assets in history.

It is necessary to mercilessly wipe out the aggressors ignorant of common sense and reasons.

The DPRK will continue taking ceaselessly strong countermeasures of Korean style to protect the sovereignty and dignity of the country and nation unless the U.S. drops nuclear threat and blackmail and hostile policy.

No one is allowed to blame the DPRK for this as it is its exercise of self-defensive right.
