Present there were figures of the British preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), the Socialist Labour Party of Britain and other political parties and masses.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos showing the exploits of the President, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A Korean film dealing with Kim Jong Un's exploits was screened at the film show.

The chairman of the Socialist Labour Party of Britain said in his speech:

Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il are the great leaders who are boundlessly revered by progressive mankind.

The U.S. imperialists have now gone to extreme in their moves to stifle Korean socialism and it is a duty of the British progressive forces to extend invariable solidarity to the Korean revolution.

Our party will as ever fully support the Korean people's socialist cause.

The general secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist) stressed that the exploits of Kim Il Sung would always be remembered not only by the Korean people but by the British progressive forces.
