Day of Sun to Be Marked in Peru

| Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- A Peruvian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated in Lima on March 23. Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland), was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange diverse political and cultural events such as a national meeting and seminar in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
