"Nuclear Security" Touted by U.S. Is One for Its Monopoly of Nuclear Weapons: Minju Joson

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the Indian newspaper Hindustan Times asserted that the U.S. initiated the "nuclear security summit" in a bid to make nuclear weapons the monopoly of some countries, not to completely eliminate them. A similar tone of an argument was found in an article of the chairman of the "International movement for just world" posted on the website of the Institute for Globalization of Canada. Commenting on this, Minju Joson Tuesday says that the U.S. hypocritical nature does not go down with anyone any longer. It goes on: When Obama talked about the "nuclear disarmament" and "denuclearized world" while initiating the "nuclear security summit" after coming to power, there were not a few countries which harbored a certain expectation. However, such expectation was little short of a daydream. The slogan "denuclearized world" put up by the U.S. was no more than a fig-leaf for covering its criminal moves for beefing up its nuclear force. In the final analysis, the "nuclear security" being touted by the U.S. is, in essence, the one for its monopoly of nuclear weapons. It is as clear as noonday that the coming "nuclear security summit" to be hosted by the U.S. would be also a sinister confab between the U.S. and its followers to cement their monopoly of nuclear weapons. The U.S. hypocritical nature can not work on the bright present world as it is engrossed in all sorts of high-handed and arbitrary practices while getting frantic with the moves to develop new type nuclear weapons, wielding nuclear saber under the signboard of the "world without nuclear weapons." |
