S. Korean People Protest against War Maneuvers, Arms Buildup

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- Members of the People for Achieving Peace and Reunification and other organizations in south Korea staged demos and conducted information activities in Seoul, Inchon and Kunsan of North Jolla Province and Kwangyang of South Jolla Province on March 26 and 27 as part of the action against the U.S. imperialists' and the puppet forces' war maneuvers against the north and their arms buildup for aggression.

The participants charged that the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 joint military drills are assuming the nature of aggression as they are aimed to carry out the ambition for "removing the headquarters of the north" and "bringing down its social system" with huge nuclear strategic strike means.

The U.S. is going to deploy new weapons for aggression in south Korea, not content with reeking off the powder smell for invading the north, they said, underscoring the need to know well about the danger.

They called upon citizens to turn out in the action opposing the warmongers' moves.
