New Antiviral Agent Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- A new kind of antiviral agent was developed in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

This agent, based on Koryo (traditional) medicinal materials, prevents acute respiratory viral epidemic and stops virus replication, repressing its proliferation when infected with the disease.

So, it is applicable to the treatment of flu and other viral epidemics. The medicine has little side effect and its efficiency is over 90 percent.

The newly developed antiviral agent is lower in cost and higher in effect than other kinds of agents, including widely-used flu remedies.

This medicine is now under production at several pharmaceutical factories of the country.
