Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Ecuador

| Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- An Ecuadorian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated in Quito on March 22. Daniel Alvarez Celi, chairman of the Ecuadorian Committee for Supporting Korea's Independent and Peaceful Reunification, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange colorful political and cultural events such as a meeting and seminar in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of the President on the occasion of the Day of the Sun. |
